I am a 47 year old male, living in N.E.Florida. I have been a Weather Enthusiast for more then 35+ years!

I have been affected by a number of Hurricanes including, Donna 1960, I was almost 3 years old, Dora 1964 and Andrew in S.Fla in 1992, one that will be never forgotten! Numerous tropical storms and depressions

There have also been Tropical Cyclones that I chased, such as Hurricane David in 1979, with 80 mph winds. This took me north on A1A into Palm Beach County where the eye came ashore briefly on Singer Island, and Tropical Storm Gordon 1994, in S. Fla., Just to mention a few, Gordon gave us a good soaking and gusty winds to 45mph. You can ask me whats it like to drive a vehicle in a Tropical System, I'd say don't do it, EVER!

I have seen some of the most undesirable Weather Events that one may see, The Storm of the Century March 13, 1993. The Winter of 1993-1994 in N.E.New Jersey with 18 Ice/Snow Storms, the F-4 Tornado near Daytona Beach in May 1994, that killed 6 people and injured more. The famous F-2 Miami Tornado, I was one of the first people to report this Tornado via Amatuer Radio. Of the 35+ years of living in Florida and other areas of the United States I've lived, I can relate to the Severity of Mother Nature.

I am airing LIVE INTERNET AUDIO BROADCASTS, The BarometerBob Show. Click on the link, for more information and updates for the new shows from Hurricane Hollow Weather and WRBN.Net!

I am a self-taught weather enthusiast, so if you know more then me, please let me learn from you, as I never claim to know all about the weather, I tend to dwell more in forecasting being this is where the help of protecting family and friends are top priority!

If your a meteorologist, and would like to become part of these learning experiences through my sites. Then please contact me!

I have been an Associate Member of the American Meteorological Society, for the purpose of expanding my self teachings. I'm also a member of the National Weather Association.

Hurricane Hollow Weather has scheduled numerous Storm Spotter Classes over the years locally, in the past, and plan more for the General Public during 2002-6 here in N.E Florida, and the first Hurricane Preparedness Town meeting here in Baker County(2001), And I have helped arrange for my local community and Baker County 4-H club, "Horses and Hurricanes Seminar". I have been interviewed by the St.Petersburg Times on 10/24/04,The Weather Underground, Florida Times Union in July 2003, "Nothing Fair Weather About These Fellas" and "ABCNEWS.COM/Hooked on Hurricanes" This was exciting to be picked for. I was also mentioned in articles "Tracking hurricanes from afar" at The Cincinnati Post and, "Hurricane Who?" at JSOline.Com in Wiscosin on 10-18-00!
I am available for further interviews, so contact me!

The week of April 11-15 2006 I was at the 2006 National Hurricane Conference recording press conferences, conducting interviews, and meeting with people. I recorded the press briefing with Joseph C. Becker Senior Vice President of Preparedness and Response American Red Cross. I am proud to have been able to contribute to the American Red Cross and the 2006 National Hurricane Conference. You can Listen Now!

I have been available for live and recorded Tropical Updates for radio stations over the past hurricane seasons. This is where I would like to take the internet broadcasts, to radio, so people from across the country can share their experiences and knowledge of the weather, so others can learn. The Barometer Bob Show has been on internet radio since May 2002. I have had special guests such as Dr Robert Sheets, NHC Director Max Mayfield, Dr Steve Lyons (TWC), Bryan Norcross (WFOR) which is famous for his coverage of Hurricane Andrew, and many many more weather personalities, storm chasers, and forecasters.

I am looking for sponsors for these websites to enhance the potential of the sites and for Storm/Hurricane Chasing. This I have done in the past, I have an inivative idea of how do chase Hurricanes in a safer enviroment, so contact me for more information!! I'm looking to make Hurricane Hollow Weather an INTERACTIVE STORM CHASE WEATHER SITE! If you are interested, and would like to hear more? E-mail me at Contact Us

As for family, I am a busy person with mine, so my time is limited to evenings and on my days off from work.

So give me a E-Mail or an on-line message I'm avaiable thru Yahoo, as BarometerBob, and we can have a chat!!!

As for Hurricane Hollow Weather, I have been working on these since June 26,1999, and will always be updating the links and information on a continual basis, so if you have any comments or suggestions please let me know for I will take any and all into consideration.

So Stay Warm, Stay Dry , and most of all, Stay Safe because, It's Not If, but When, Severe Weather May Affect Your Area, and Have A Sunny Day, and keep an Eagle Eye to the Sky !!!!!
